- septembre 4, 2008 · News Feed from killer Startups

What it does

Isn’t it too hard to keep up with the many new sites that launch everyday? With each new site, you have to create a new identity (with a username and password) to get the most out of it. If you’re tired of this, and you need help remembering all your different passwords, you should check out Mashedlife.com. With this free service, you’ll be able to quickly manage all your different passwords, making it possible for you to keep up with all your different online identities. The service claims to be secure, so you don’t have to worry about it revealing your passwords to anyone. The site works by you installing a toolbar. With this, you’ll be able to click on the log in button every time you’re on a site. For instance: the toolbar will know you’re on the Facebook homepage. Just click on the button and it will log you in with the appropriate username and password.

In their own words

“Mashed life is a a true web-based secure password management service, free & incredibly simple.”

Why it might be a killer

This is a great idea. It makes it so easy to log into a page, that you’ll find yourself constantly using it.

Some questions

Is this really secure for a public computer? Don’t most people use similar usernames and passwords for their accounts?
